Used when installing siding to install panels and secure them in a vertical plane – around windows, doors, openings, at the joints of walls and cornices, sometimes at corners, as well as for neat finishing of the top of the pediment. Provides a finished look. Also used for installing soffit panels on cornices (under the roof overhang) and on porch and veranda canopies.
