This problem is being solved in many countries of the world. This is done most effectively in Europe and Canada. Let’s consider how you can reduce energy consumption and reduce heating costs for a private house in our country.
Let’s define in basic terms
Energy consumption for heating 1 m 2 housing per year (heating season) is denoted as E (kW × h / m 2 </ sup > per year).
According to the current Ukrainian standards, for a one-two-storey building with an area of 120 m 2 it is necessary (at E = 142 kWh / m 2 per year) 17040 kWh / year or 1893 m 3 gas.
Conversion of units takes place according to the following formula: 1 m 3 gas = 9 kWh.
In Switzerland, the gas consumption standard is 2.6 times lower than ours. In Canada it is 4 times lower (35 kWh / m 2 per year).
Resistance to heat transfer (determined by R (m 2 × K / W)) of the enclosing structures (walls, ceilings, windows, floor) of a residential building.
Basic requirements for resistance to heat transfer R (m 2 × K / W) of enclosing structures (walls, ceiling, windows, floor) of a single-family house:
